The basics of lubrification
Lubrification is a key point when it comes to servicing a watch.
Here are some fundamentals :
- Work in a clean environment, with the least amount of dust
- Always start the process of oiling with a clean movement
- Have the proper set of tools : oil cups with lids and oiling tips. You might want to add magnifying equipment for specific spot.
- Do not be cheap with the oils and greases.
